Viktor Emil Frankl (26 mars 1905 – 2 septembre 1997) était un psychiatre autrichien juif, fondateur de la logothérapie, une école de psychothérapie qui décrit la recherche du sens de la vie comme la force motivationnelle humaine centrale [1].
La logothérapie fait partie des théories de la psychologie existentielle et humaniste [2]. Viktor Frankl est également connu pour son livre « Découvrir un sens à sa vie avec la logothérapie » ainsi que pour son ouvrage majeur « Le Homme en recherche de sens » [1].
